Material Lists in WRF_AL

Hello Experts,

I am new to SAP Retail, so I don't undrestand all its notions.

My question is what are Material lists used for? I created some lists and affected hierarchy nodes but I don't undrestand their real use.

And what is the difference or the relationship (if there is any ) between those lists and material listing in MM42.

Any help would be valuable.
